Beach- Because of the way this resort sits next to its sister properties, they boast one of the largest stretches of beach in all of the Riviera Maya. It makes for a great for a stroll and taking in the view. The beach is parallel to the beautiful grounds that surround the property. Charges (extra) - Spa treatments would be extra. Distances- In the Riviera Maya south of Cancun. They offer a free shuttle to Playa del Carmen which is a great value. Entertainment on Property -Varied entertainment and activities during the day and evening. Fitness Area - A great fitness center next to it's sister property Iberostar Paraiso Beach.
Getting Around- Free Shuttle to Playa del Carmen. Internet Access -There is an hourly charge for internet access. Jackets and Ties- Keep them at home, but bring slacks and polo shirt for dinner in the A la Carte restaurants. Kids- Lucy´s Mini club (ages 4-12 years) for smaller guests with a variety of activities and children´s pool. Little Known Fact-Iberostar does not buy existing resorts and renovate. They take the comments and wish list from guests and implement them into their new resorts. Medical Services-On call medical services. Negatives- The only negative I see and it is more a personal preference is the grounds are very spread out. I like the fact you can have a full resort and people are not on top of each other.
Opportunities-You have access to the golf course and can use the pool and facilities at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach and Del Mar. The other properties do not have the privileges to use the Lindo's facilities. Almost like staying at three properties for the price of one. Pool-WOW, if you love pools, you will enjoy this property. The wave pool is fun and you would find me floating round and round with a drink in my hand on the lazy river pool. They also designed the pool so the adult quiet area is at the opposite end of where the kids club is. They did a great job in how they designed the pool. Protection-In room safe. Recreation-Where do I begin, Aerobics, basketball, exercises, table tennis, tennis, volley ball, windsurfing, hobby cat-sailing and kayaks. Bike tour. Scuba clinic in the pool and the list goes on. Rooms-The rooms are open and airy and since the property is fairly new, everyone should feel comfortable. The standard room size is 507 sq ft and the Jr Suite room size is 567 sq ft. They will allow a family of 5 in one room if the youngest child is an infant. Shopping- They have their own shopping plaza that will have over 30 stores and 4 new restaurants. The is also plenty of shopping in Playa del Carmen. Terrain-Very flat and spread out. Tipping-Not required but as with any service industry, if your bartender, room service attendant or concierge really shines, they will appreciate the small gratuity since most people will not be tipping anyway.
View-The way the property is designed, the beautiful grounds and pool are the focal point. I would not say you really would have and ocean view but who cares at this property! Weather-December through May are the driest months. September through November are the wettest months with June getting more rainfall than July. WOW Factor-This property lives up to the hype! From the amount of dining choices, the wave pool, a great beach and use of the other properties facilities, this ranks high on my list. X-Y-Z-The best review of a property boils down to one question, would I go back? In a heartbeat! |

Ambiance-The word that fits best when you arrive at this property is class act. Not only do I feel this way but we have put many a couple and family at this property and they all have said the same thing. Each building is designed with its own courtyard with entertainment in the evening. 
Food- 7 restaurants of which 5 are A la Carte for dinner, with Asian, Italian, Cajun and Gourmet cuisine and a Steakhouse. It is great to have so many A la Carte choices at an All-Inclusive. You also have access to the restaurants at their sister resorts next door, the Iberostar Paraiso Beach and Del Mar. There is no limit to the amount of times you may eat at any of the specialty restaurants. 
Nightlife- Not only do you have the evening entertainment you also can go to the Discotheque at the Iberostar Paraiso del Mar.
Updates-Recently, Iberostar opened its own shopping plaza with over 30 stores and 4 new restaurants.
