Beach-You share the beach with the Hilton Hawaiian Village which is one of the larger stretches of beaches in Waikiki. You are also next to the marina so you get to see some of the nice yachts that are docked there. Charges (extra) - Spa treatments and internet would be extra. Distances- This would be the first resort you come to on Waikiki. It sits right next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Entertainment on Property -Music in the lounges and every evening they have the lighting of the tiki torches. Fitness Area - They do have a small fitness center.
Getting Around- Easy to walk up and down Waikiki or a short taxi ride. Internet Access -There is an hourly charge for internet access from the business center. Jackets and Ties- Keep them at home! Aloha shirts are the norm. Kids-Very family friendly with rooms with kitchenettes up to two bedroom units Lighting-Well lit at night. Medical Services-On call medical services.
Nightlife- Plenty of nightlife in Waikiki. Opportunities-Take advantage of the better pricing since you are not in the heart of Waikiki. Pool-Two pools, small but nice. Protection-In room safe. Recreation-Tennis court at the resort and plenty of activities on the island. Rooms-Ask for the rooms with the kitchenettes for they are the larger rooms at about 650 square feet. Shopping-Plenty of shopping in Waikiki.
Updates-Newly renovated. View-Right on the ocean. Weather-Rainy season is December through February with the driest months being June through September. WOW Factor-The value you get especially for the rooms with the kitchenettes. X-Y-Z-I would say this is a very good choice for couples and families that want to be close to everything yet not right in the middle of everything. Convenience without the crowds. Ambiance-I had not seen this resort in years and have to say I was pleasantly surprised to see all the improvements that have been made. You get the convenience of being in Waikiki without being right in the middle of the masses. 
Food- Three restaurants with their signature restaurant, Tanaka of Tokyo, voted one of the "ten Best Japanese Restaurants" in the country. 
Negatives- Some people like to be closer to the shopping in Waikiki.
Terrain-Not too large a resort.
