Popular city tours are a great way for couples to get acquainted with the area. The trips include stops at several downtown attractions before heading south to Mismaloya Beach. Or head inland to San Sebastian, one of the oldest mining towns in Mexico, dating back to 1605. Honeymooners can discover the half dozen secluded beaches that are found far south of town. They can only be reached by boat, all of which depart from either the marina north of town, the downtown pier at Playa Los Muertos, or from Playa Mismaloya. |

Puerto Vallarta beaches range from quiet to energetic with plenty of activity. Honeymooners can engage in almost every kind of sport, including golf, deep-sea fishing, tennis and many water sports. Los Arcos, a set of large rocks known for the caves formed under them, is a popular snorkeling spot with a variety of brilliantly colored tropical fish. There is also places where couples can do some whale watching. |
