Kidding around-Thanks
to Club HAL®, a special program that offers oceans of supervised fun for family
members ages 5 through 17, the entire family can have the vacation of their dreams.
For little ones ages 5 through 8, there's story time, art and crafts, ice cream
sundae parties, candy bar, and bingo. 'Tweens (9 to 12) and teens (13 to 17) can
enjoy miniature golf, pool and pizza parties, video games, disco, movies and more
in their very own room.
Kids cruising on the ms Maasdam, ms Zuiderdam,
ms Oosterdam or ms Westerdam will have their own KidZone and WaveRunner rooms,
complete with computer and video game areas, a dance floor for teen parties, and
an outside play area. Shore excursions "just for kids" on Half Moon
Cay, their private island in the Bahamas, kids can join a real island Treasure
Hunt. Teens have their own cool beach party featuring beach volleyball, and foods
that please.

your toothbrush? Out of film? Their sundries shop is well stocked with all the
essentials your family needs - from suntan lotion and toiletries to books, magazines
and greeting cards.

ms Zuiderdam (pronounced, ZI-der-dam), named for the south position
of the compass, pointing the direction cruising will take in the future.
She began her inaugural season in 2002 and is the first of a new class
of cruise ships aptly called the Vista Series - forward-looking in
both design and spirit. Everywhere you look, discover more that matters
in a cruise ship. There are more staterooms with verandahs for private
sunning, dining and relaxing. More ways to pamper and relax in The
Greenhouse Spa and Salon, largest and most luxurious in our fleet.

is the cuisine aboard Holland America Lines ships that the entire fleet has been
inducted into the prestigious Confrerie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs,
a gourmet society founded in Paris and devoted to promoting the pleasures of the
table. Which, in turn,
prompted the society to create a special badge denoting the new
Professional
de la Marine category, of which Holland America was the very first recipient.
What does it take to earn such an esteemed award? Cuisine lovingly prepared and
exquisitely presented in a number of exciting dining venues.
For the Kids-Call it what you will - finicky, particular,
hard-to-please - the kids will tell you it's a matter of taste.
Which is why they've designed a menu that includes their favorites:
