O'ahu- This island in my opinion has the most to offer as far as variety of resorts, diverse restaurants and activities for everyone. Pearl Harbor is a must see for the whole family and a history lesson kids of any age can appreciate. Also, explore Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, where you and your kids can swim with the turtles and tropical fish. If you get a chance drive up to the north shore especially during surfing season to see some of the most dramatic waves . |

Maui- Explore the dormant volcano which is responsible for creating the eastern portion of Maui at Haleakala National Park. You can bike it or hike it! See it at sunrise (preferably on your first day while your bodies are hours ahead). This is also the most popular island for honeymooners. The Kaanapali area tends to be the most popular part of the island with a variety of resorts, condos and restaurants. |

Big Island-Hawaii- Your family can visit Akaka Falls State Park, featuring the 442 ft. high Akaka Falls, and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, where you can see Kilauea, the world's longest continuously erupting volcano (since 1983), guaranteed to fascinate the entire family. The Island is also known for it's black sand beaches. If golf is your passion the Big Island has many options. |

Kaua'i- Eldest of the main Hawaiian Islands, it has more miles of sand beach than any other Island in the chain, perfect for those days your family wants for playing in the water and sand! Kauai is also know as the green island so it is the most lush of the islands. A not to be missed is Waimea Canyon and Waimea Falls. |

Lana'i- If you are an outdoor adventure type of family and are interested in seeing areas rich in ancient Hawaiian history, this is the Island for you! Visit the Garden of The Gods or Ka'ena Point and see the ancient rock drawings called the Luahiwa Petroglyphs. A fun activity is to hike up to Munro Trail for views of neighboring islands. |

Moloka'i- Known for its spectacular geography. Check out Kalaupapa Lookout in Pala'au State Park. Moloka'i is home to the worlds tallest sea cliffs and is a great place for the whole family to do some snorkeling. If you really want to experience what Hawaii was like 50 years ago, this island stands still in time. |
