About
our Family Travel Specialists...
David
|
| David
has been in the travel industry for over 30 years starting as a travel agent back
in 1978. He started DTR Travel in 1993. He is a
cruise fanatic and some of his favorite trips have been to New Zealand, Tahiti,
the United Kingdom, Scotland, Spain and Switzerland. He also is a Mexico specialist having personally inspected over 150 resorts in Mexico. He also had the privilege to travel
to Cuba in September 2003 traveling as part of a humanitarian trip that will
always be remembered for the warmth and kindness of the Cuban people. |
This picture was taken in the Spring 2010 at the Furry Scurry. This was a benefit walk to support the local animal shelter where I adopted Missy.
For those dog lovers (cats too), pets are as much family members as children. |

Teresa
|
Teresa, pictured
2nd from the left, feels the only vacation is a family vacation.
She started in the travel industry in 1975
(back in dinosaur days before travel agents even had computers)
and worked for 10 years before taking leave to raise her 3 daughters,
now all grown. She returned to the travel industry in 1995 with
her passion for travel and family. With a son-in-law and two grandsons
to boot, she enjoys a large family trip every year. This Colorado
native loves Hawaii, Mexico and cruising...as long as her whole
family is there!

| Carol |
Carol is the manager of our Empire Travel Cruise and Vacations branch and our cruise specialist. Her passion in life is cruising. She took her first cruise with Holland America Line in September of 1990 and found it was literally a career changing experience. She has earned CLIA's (Cruise Lines International Association) highest designation of Master Cruise Counselor (MCC) and maintains close contacts in the Seattle office of Holland America Line.

| Sue |
Sue is out of our Peak Experience Travel branch located in Buena Vista Colorado. Sue discovered a love for Ireland and Scotland that is definitely in her blood. She was in the first graduating class of the Irish Tourist Boards "Shamrock Club" Destination Specialist Program, held at Dromoland Castle, Newmarket-on-Fergus, County Clare, and has completed the intensive "Scots Master" program with the Scottish Tourist Board.
In all her travels, to Mexico, Canada, Ireland, cruises and ports of call, what she enjoys most is trying to absorb some of the flavor and way of life of each place. When she is really old and unable to travel, she will have such wonderful memories and her"Royal Stewart" plaid pillow a friend brought her from Scotland. Isn’t that what travel is all about? |
